The people behind Dunav
Dunav today runs a great many folk dance activities and events, but they don't happen by themselves. The people who run Dunav deserve a lot of credit for their time and commitment, but none of us really knew what we were getting into when we started. There was no way to imagine that one day we'd have so many activities or that being on board would one day rival a second (non-paying) job. But everybody contributes, that is the secret to our success.
Yehuda Ben Harush, Dunav chairman
Yehuda runs Balkan dancing in Jerusalem, and all the Dunav events.
During this time he's introduced hundreds dances, mostly dances
that he brought back with him from various trips to Balkan countries and villages.
Yehuda created and maintains the Dunav database and produces all of Dunav products.
